個人情報の取り扱いについて

[Application Privacy Policy]

Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "DNP") has established an Application Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information, including the personal information of members (hereinafter referred to as "Member Information") in the face-to-face help service "May ii" (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") and application software for using the Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") as follows in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Policy of DNP (https://www.dnp.co.jp/eng/privacy/).

Article 1 (Member Information to be obtained)
During the use of the Application, DNP obtains the following Member Information from members' mobile terminals (hereinafter referred to as "Terminals") on which the Application is installed through members' operations or via the Application. If the user does not register an email address at the time of registration as a new member, the user will be unable to use the Services. If any mandatory item on the profile setting screen is not entered, some of the Services may be unavailable.

(1) Member Information acquired from member's entries
[1] At the time of membership registration
Mandatory items: Email address, password
[2] At the time of setting up a profile
Mandatory items: Internet Alias, Gender, Year of Birth (Shown as 10-year age groups)
Optional items: Place of Residence, Prefecture, Company/Organization/School, Characteristics (Disability Classification, Use of Aids, etc.), Certifications and Qualifications Held, Language (Japanese, English, and Korean).
[3] At the time of registering emergency contacts
Optional items: Emergency Contact (Phone Number)
(2) Member Information automatically retrieved from Terminals at the time of activating the Application, including background activation
- The following Member Information based on terminal location information (GPS)
1. Area information (To determine which service area a member is in)
2. Information on distance between two parties (To display an approximate distance between requester and potential supporter)
3. Latitude and longitude information (To show the current positions of requester and potential supporter on a map)
- Application operations log
- Terminal information (OS, type of machine), requester's IP address
(3) Member Information obtained from member's entries during use of face-to-face help service
- The content of face-to-face help requested to solve trouble (including free text input, hereinafter referred to as "Trouble")
- Information given and received, information that facilitates marking (such as clothing or accessory colors, information regarding status, location, etc., including free text input. Hereinafter referred to as "Marking Information"), to facilitate identification of the other party in a face-to-face meeting after matching is established between requester and potential supporter
- Corrected requester's latitude and longitude information to facilitate a face-to-face meeting (For android versions, available only to requesters, optionally plotting requester's position on a map)
- Evaluation information on experience and matching partner (both requester and supporter) in face-to-face help through the Services in the form of a satisfaction survey

Article 2 (Purpose of use of Member Information)
1. DNP uses the Member Information listed in Article 1 for the following purposes.
(1) To confirm that the Services are used by a member who has consented to the Terms and the Policy (by way of email address and password).
(2) To provide the following functions relevant to the Services (All the Member Information except for application operation log)
A) Sending a request for help in solving trouble encountered by a member on the street to nearby potential supporters
B) Receiving a help request and expressing willingness to offer help
C) Receiving and sending information between requester and supporter through the chatbot function of the Application after matching is established through A) and B) above, and before they actually face each other
D) Accessing information provided by DNP via the Application and the Services' website (https://mayii.jp/en/, hereinafter referred to as the "Website")
E) Acquiring points and titles in accordance with the activity history in the Application
F) Entering evaluation of the face-to-face help experiences provided through the Services
G) A function to display the phone number of an emergency contact that has been optionally registered by a member when starting a calling application in a terminal where the Application is installed by pressing "Emergency Contact" in the Application in an emergency
H) A function to set a hashtag specified from the history of face-to-face help activities conducted through the Services and a service area name in the member's own SNS account
(3) To contact members by sending email regarding the Services (email addresses, application operations log)
(4) To properly operate and improve the Services (Application operations log, latitude and longitude information,
, trouble, Marking Information)
(5) To respond to inquiries from members (Application operation log, email address)
(6) To verify the identity of a member who has made an inquiry, for example (Email address, year of birth)
(7) To confirm the age of a member (year of birth)
2. DNP may outsource part of the handling of the Member Information, including maintenance and operation of the server, which is to be managed in Japan, used to operate the Services (hereinafter referred to as "Administration Server").
3. If Member Information is used beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use listed in Paragraph 1, DNP obtains prior consent from the member, except for the following cases:
- Such use is required by laws and regulations.
- Such use is needed to protect the life, body or property of a person, and obtaining consent from the person is difficult.
- In cases where a national agency, a local public body or a party entrusted by the same needs to cooperate in performance pursuant to laws and regulations, and obtaining consent from the person is likely to impede such use.

Article 3 (External transmission)
1. DNP sends all the Member Information listed in Article 1 from the Application to the Administration Server managed in Japan by DNP for the purpose of use listed in Article 2.
2. DNP uses an information collection module to send part of the Member Information obtained by the Application to the outside. For the destination, content and purpose of external transmission using the information collection module, refer to Article 5.

Article 4 (Protecting personal information on linked external sites)
Content, advertisements, etc. displayed in the Application include links to external sites. DNP is not responsible for the purpose of use or the use of personal information that is uniquely obtained by these external sites.

Article 5 (Information collection module)
This application includes the following information collection module and may collect member information in order to understand the usage environment and usage conditions of members and to improve the quality of the application. Please refer to the privacy policy of each company regarding the handling of personal information by the information collection module providers.

When using the application, the following data is automatically sent to each information collection module provider.
- A string of characters to uniquely identify the browsing browser
- IP address
- URL of the browsing page
- Referrer (referrer URL)
- Access date and time
- User agent

Article 6 (Provision to third parties)
1.The Application may provide Member Information through a built-in information collection module referred to in the preceding article.
2. To provide the Services, the Application may disclose the following Member Information on the screen of the Application of another member.
(1) During the use of the face-to-face help service, the following Member Information is disclosed to nearby potential supporters based on the distance information between the two parties to notify them of a request for help.
- Internet Alias, Gender, Year of Birth, Characteristics, Language and Trouble (hereinafter referred to as "Basic Support Request Information")
(2) A potential supporter determines whether or not they can provide face-to-face help based on the Basic Support Request Information that has been received, presses the "Run for Supporter" button, and then discloses the following Member Information to the requester.
- Internet Alias, Gender, Year of Birth, Certifications and Qualifications Held, and Language (hereinafter referred to as "Basic Supporter Information")
(3) Matching is established when the requester selects a potential supporter from whom they want to receive face-to-face help based on the Basic Supporter Information that has been received. After establishment of matching, the requester and the supporter additionally disclose their latitude and longitude and Marking Information.
(4) Pressing the "Terminate Communication" button after the meeting terminates the exchange of information between the two parties, i.e., the requester and the supporter, and discloses the Basic Support Request Information or supporter information of the matching partner, area information and evaluation information on the experience entered by the member from History on the top screen of the Application. The area information is disclosed by setting a fixed phrase that includes the area information and a hash tag specified from the history in member's SNS account, and then posting a message .
(5) The latitude and longitude information is no longer disclosed to the matching partner after pressing "Terminate Communication" or after the elapse of a certain period of time.
3. DNP will never provide Member Information to third parties other than those listed in Paragraphs 1 and 2 without obtaining prior consent from the member. except for the following cases:
- Such provision is required by laws and regulations.
- Such provision is needed to protect the life, body or property of a person, and obtaining consent from the person is difficult.
- In cases where a national agency, a local public body or a party entrusted by the same needs to cooperate in performance pursuant to laws and regulations, and obtaining consent from the person is likely to impede such use.

Article 7 (Disclosure and provision of Member Information)
1. A member can check his/her registered profile information from "Profile" on the menu screen of the Application. Any profile items other than Email Address, Gender and Year of Birth can be changed.
2. For inquiries regarding disclosure and other matters, contact the point of contact set forth in Article 11.

Article 8 (Measures to manage the safety of Member Information)
DNP will take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss or damage of Member Information and to ensure the safe management thereof, and endeavor to make continuous improvements.

Article 9 (Handling of Member Information after withdrawal)
When a member performs the withdrawal procedure from the menu of the Application, the information related to the Application stored in the user's smartphone and the information on the Administration Server are deleted immediately.
However, email notifying of the completion of withdrawal will remain on the Administration Server for one month after the withdrawal to maintain the consent trail.

Article 10 (Consent)
The user should confirm the policy displayed when downloading the Application and check the check box to confirm their consent to the Policy before starting the Application for the first time.
After starting to use the Application, the content of the Policy can be confirmed by pressing the following:

"Privacy Policy" on the menu screen of the Application

Article 12 (Changes)
DNP may change this Policy. For important changes, such as a change of the purpose of use or a change pertaining to provision of information to third parties, we will obtain consent from members.
